UKDS Event June 2023

We had a 23 competitors taking part on a scorcher of a day; 10 Novice, 4 Intermediate & 9 Advanced. Another 5 competitors would have been there if it hadn't been forecast to be so hot. The weather forecasters were right this time!

A big thank you to our in-house judges who baked in the heat; John Simpson judging Advanced with Lyndie Lothian as steward. Nicky Downes judged Intermediate with steward Sharon Lord and Steph Gordon judged Novice with Jenny Orchard as her steward. The standard of entry was evident in the results with 3 NDEX, 1 IDEX & 3 ADEX.

Thanks to Sue Lawrie & Gill Cooke for providing refreshments and gifts, and to those members who came with cakes and to everyone who helped set up and take down.

A special thank you to Shirley Simpson and her expertise of running Trials, who along with our judges ensured the whole event ran like clockwork.
