AGM 2022 report
- Hits: 2
What a super day we had, albeit a very cold one! The sun kept shining all day and it stayed dry. Everybody loved the games, and the dogs were having a great time, running around the obstacle courses and climbing bales of hay, retrieving dummies and tennis balls as well as loads of toys!
The AGM took the customary 25 minutes, just long enough to thank all the committee members for all their hard work throughout the year, present the 22/23 Year accounts, and award the various cups and trophies to the winners and re-elect the Committee. Job done for another year!
We then all tucked into the big Buffet lunch, prepared by Wendy, and tried to warm up with lots of cups of tea and coffees. Note for next year: we shall have to put hot soup on the menu!!
Huge thank you to all the members who gave up their Saturday and Sunday to help us set up and take down the marquee and the gazebos and also staked out the field to put up the fencing and arrange all the bales of hay in the correct positions. This day would not have been as successful without all your hard work.

The AGM was held at Ryelands Field on Sunday 13th October 2024. Given the very wet weather this year we were fortunate to have a dry autumn day, which commenced with six different games set up for our members to enjoy: Agility, gun dog scurry, find the toy, toy retrieves, fastest recall & recall over bales.
Everyone was able to have three attempts at each game, rosettes were awarded to Best Puppy, Best Good Citizen Dog and Best Sporting Dog in each section.
The short AGM followed with complimentary buffet lunch to finish. Many thanks to all who helped set up and take down the games, marquee & gazebos. We really couldn't do it without your help.
There are many more wonderful photos taken by our members on our Facebook page.
