UK Dog Sport
UK Dog Sport is a new dog sport that can run alongside or be a stepping stone for those who are already training their dogs for Working Trials.
UK Dog Sport is for anybody who would like to do more advanced training with their dog but may not want to teach their dog the Working Trials jumps. UK Dog Sport can also be used as a stepping stone for puppies and beginner dogs for those who wish to go onto training for Working Trials. It also offers an alternative for those that would like to do trials, but whose dogs cannot cope with the Agility or have retired from Working Trials but are still keen to work.
As well as teaching the regular Obedience exercises of Heelwork, Recall, Dumbbell Retrieve and Sendaways, the Agility section consists of an A-frame, a Tunnel and a Clear Jump.
You will be able to progress your dog from the very simple Foundation level to the Expert level by working through the Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Levels at your own pace.
For further information and details of all the exercises in the various levels please visit the UK Dog Sport website.
